The Connecting Rod Bolts are produced from the finest quality 8740 Chrome Moly domestically melted premium steels.
Next the fasteners are heat treated with a proprietary process, unique from the automotive, commercial, and aerospace industries allowing each fastener the ability to achieve higher tensile strengths without sacrificing toughness. The thread is rolled after heat treatment, fasteners are centerless ground to ensure concentricity and any surface defects from heat treating are removed. Threads are roll formed on the fastener in the hardened state.
