AirDog II-4G DF-100 Lift Pump (2015-2016)**

The AirDog II 4G 100GPH A6SPBC262 lift pump, or Fuel Preporator, is a must have upgrade for your 2015-2016 6.6L LML Duramax. The fuel system on your LML is the heart of the vehicle’s performance and reliability. This low pressure (8-10 psi) Duramax lift pump mounts in front of the fuel tank to the frame jig. This makes it almost hidden, and keeps it out of the way of rocks and debris. The pressure side of the pump connects to the injection pump feed line on the frame. The suction/fuel supply sides connect directly to your factory quick disconnect fittings making the install very straight forward. Due to the fact the Duramax does not have a factory lift pump, these trucks usually see the most benefit from an AirDog lift pump fuel system. (see How It Works)

The AirDog II 4G 100GPH Duramax lift pump will solve the infamous P0087 & P1093 low fuel rail pressure codes by supplying your CP4 injection pump with fuel, rather than your injection pump doing most of the work pulling the fuel up from the tank. This positive supply of purified fuel being fed to your CP4 will also add performance, throttle response, and longevity to your vehicle. Due to extra stress on your fuel system from either high mileage and/or additional performance modifications, like a tuner or larger injectors, your injection pump can become weak over time. This may result in a drop of performance, reliability, and fuel economy. The supplied water separator (WS100) and fuel filter (FF100-2), that mount to the pump, filter your fuel down to a 2 micron rating which surpasses the stock fuel filters filtration capability.

AirDog® II-4G Fuel Air Separation System featuring Demand Flow Technology and Enhanced Features

AirDog® II-4G is designed to operate at flows and pressures beyond the maximum requirements of the engine. It receives fuel under vacuum from the fuel tank containing entrained air/vapor, particulate contaminates and unknown quantities of water.

The fuel passes through the water separator which removes the large particulate contaminates that could damage or jam the gear rotor fuel pump. The fuel, with only entrained air/vapor and tiny particulate contaminates remaining enters the fuel pump.

The fuel, now under positive pressure flow, enters the fuel filter. As the fuel passes through the filter media and the remaining particulate contaminates are caught and contained, the entrained air/vapor is also separated. Through the positive fuel air separation features of the patented AirDog® II-4G the separated air/vapor is discharged from the filter and back to the fuel tank through the Primary Air/Vapor Discharge Port.

The fuel passing through the filter media is now free of contaminates and power robbing air/vapor. At pressures and flows able to meet the needs of the engine, it exits the fuel filter through two passageways. First, the fuel for the engine passes into the fuel pickup tube and on to the engine. Then, the excess fuel not needed by the engine recycles internally through the pressure regulator back to the water separator.
